Amlodac T 40mg/5mg Tablet

• Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension).

This medication consists of a combination of two medicines, Telmisartan and Amlodipine. Telmisartan is the angiotensin receptor blocker, and Amlodipine is the calcium channel blocker. They work by relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart-pumping action efficient. The combination of both Telmisartan and Angiotensin lowers blood pressure efficiently.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medications cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

• Headaches
• Back pain
• Difficulty in breathing
• Stomach pain and back pain
• Nausea
• Muscle pain
• Fever

Amlodac T 40mg/5mg Tablet is taken as per the advice of the doctor. It's very important to take this medicine even if you feel well. • Breast Feeding: It is unknown whether Amlodac T 40mg/5mg Tablet passes into breast milk. So, notify your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed.
• Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Amlodac T 40mg/5mg Tablet. Please speak with your physician.
• Liver: Amlodac T 40mg/5mg Tablet should be used cautiously in liver patients. Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor about pre-existing liver conditions. Dose adjustment is needed in such conditions.
• Lungs: It is unknown whether Amlodac T 40mg/5mg Tablet is safe for patients with lung problems. Notify your physician if you have any lung disease before starting the treatment. Contact your doctor if you experience any lung-related symptoms.
• Driving: Amlodac T 40mg/5mg Tablet could alter the driving ability or operating machinery capacity by causing dizziness, headaches, nausea, and tiredness.
• Pregnancy: Amlodac T 40mg/5mg Tablet is not recommended during early pregnancy and should not be taken beyond the first three months as it may harm the unborn baby. Report to your medical professional if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant or planning for the pregnancy before starting the treatment.
