Secure Port Mini Max Catheter

• Long-term chemotherapy, fluids, etc.,

Port is a medical device sutured under the skin, usually in the chest wall. Secure port mini max catheter connects the port to a vein. The port has a septum through which medications can be injected, and blood samples can be drawn repeatedly with less discomfort.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medications cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

• Burning sensation
• Fever
• Unusual drainage from the injected site

Secure Port Mini Max will only be attached by your physician. Initially, they will secure it with a bandage until the skin around it heals.

• Liver: The safety of Secure port mini max catheter in liver patients is unknown. Inform your doctor if you have any liver-related problems before receiving the treatment.
• Lungs: The safety of Secure port mini max catheter in lung patients is unknown. Inform your doctor if you have any lung-related problems before receiving the treatment.
• Driving: It is unknown whether it is safe to take alcohol during the treatment with a Secure port mini max catheter. Contact your doctor for more advice.
• Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, suspecting, or planning for the pregnancy, report to your doctor before starting the treatment with a Secure port mini max catheter. Consult your doctor for more advice.
